“Painting is a matter of will.”

I am more interested in the fullness of seeing as an act or event of awareness than I am interested in seeing things as objects to be faithfully recorded.  My curvilinear perspective is based on this approach because it requires an expansion of visual awareness beyond what can be seen within our normal peripheral vision at any instant. This is why I am known as the painter of curved space. These expansive images are intuitively created from my experiences of world travels. Mick received a Bachelors of Fine Art and a Masters of Art Education at the University of South Florida.
